Etam Cru.

Etam Cru? You're probably thinking, "what in da bleedin' 'ell?" First of all, yes you are a Scotsman in this scenario, and no its not a new word I made up.

Etam Cru is a fabulous group of street artists I just discovered, and boy do I mean...

FABULOUS.

Their work is simply phenomenal. The artistry, the color, the size. I mean, these things are M-A-SSIVE. Not to mention the sheer weirdness that they encapsulate. Talk about a lethal combination. Big & Weird. Sounds like a rap duo.

These fellas are the second, of what I'll call "graffiti artists" that I've come across accidentally. Herakut was my last discovery, and they are still (by far) one of my faves fo shizz. I'm finding that Etam Cru does most of their art in/around Poland. Which is perfect because I'm mostly Polish! A full 25%... BOOM. Chalk one up for some ancestral roots! Also, because they're Polish, and most of the art sights I found them on were IN Polish... I'm not 100% sure who the "crew" is made up of. It's looking like 2-3 dudes, but please don't hold me to the accuracy of that information. I'm Tired.

I project daydream. Almost daily. I have so many ideas in my head of all the paintings, sewing projects, decorating ideas I have that I never really know when to start them all. It always seems like there is not enough time in a 24 hour day to accomplish everything. I time manage well, but most days my mental and physical exhaustion keep me from my passions. It's rather difficult to get creatively motivated when you can't remember your name some days. 

Since I'm tired, I thought I would do a quick google search for "tired art"... look at all the neat things that popped up!

It's the random "I'm Still Alive Post!"

My absence... has been a rather sad thing, nyes? Yes. Frnakly, I've been busy doing non-arty things. Well, sooort of... I took on a few sewing projects, participated in some summer activities, and FINALLY started a piece that was commissioned at the beginning of the summer. Never say "no rush" to me when I'm supposed to make something for you... I'm a procrastinator. Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines... they're my bread and butta, not to mention yours! I also forget to mention, my computer? BA-ROKEN! For like, the last 3 months.... très lame.

Any-hoo... I was cruising through random motion photos of a-dorable things on the internet today, and looksie what I find: I shares...

I don't know why... but I find this entertaining... just me? Yea. Its boring or creepy? Whatevah! Like.

Holy. Crap.

Wowzers ya'll.... I mean, I knew I hadn't posted anything for a while but... Not nothing since December? Yikes.

This is mostly just a touch base sort of thing really, because SINCE December I have been crazy busy. Like, running around like a chicken without its head crazy. Yea. I started a new job which eats up any free time I had during the day, I started a new (and more intense) workout regime, and I've been going overload on putting the finishing touches on bits and pieces of my house. PLUS I've been gathering and secretly (and by secret, I obviously mean everyone knows) working on a few painting projects (yahoo!) Do not fret, I'll show 'em up on here real soon, you can count on it... maybe. Man I love being cheeky. 

All in all its been pretty smooth sailing since Christmas. Except for my obvious lack of bloggy posts.When you park your ass in front of a computer all day at work, the last thing you want to park it in front of is the computer when you get home.... that's what the TV is for! right?! ha! 

Also, real quick, you may notice that SOMEONE forgot to renew her custom URL... so if the regularly awesome www.kaileelance.com doesn't work/show correctly in your window bar or whatever, its because I didn't fork over the $9.99 in time to keep it current and as awesomely up to date as I should have... I'll get to it... eventually :-)
